Credit and Budgeting for Homebuyers
This presentation is designed for those considering the purchase of a home. The workshop discusses credit, credit reports, credit scores and what can legally be done to improve an “imperfect” credit history. The participants will also learn how to manage personal finances using a budgeting process. Class members will be taught to evaluate their own budget, consider all the expenses of purchasing a home and determine the house payment they can realistically afford before shopping for a home or mortgage.
